Apple's first slogan was "Byte into an Apple", and was coined in the 1970s. From then in 1997-2002 Apple started to use the slogan "Think Different" in advertising campaigns. The company also has specific slogans for specific products for example "i Think therefore iMac" was used in 1998 to promote the iMac.
Although Apple isn't completely "green" they are really trying to make the toxins and non-recyclable components in the computer more safe for the environment. In fact, they even decided in 2007 and 2008 to try and become a little more "green" by updating from cold cathode lamps to mercury free LEDs and arsenic free LCDs!
The Apple Newton was the first flop for Apple. The Newton was a PDA product that eventually ended up paving the way for other PDAs such as Palm Pilot and the new iPhone.

As you can see, Apple has come a really long way and has had Streamyx different attempts at reinvention, rises and of course like all companies, falls. But this company in particular, seems to have pushed the tides by not only staying in the race, but beating out many of the other competitors. I think Apple is probably one of the most sincere companies out there. They don't just churn out products in order to profit from them unlike other unnamed sites and brands! This is a good company to go with if you just want a good quality product, or if you just have always been a huge Apple fan!
If you prefer another product or company over Apple, good ones to try would be Benq-Siemens Black Box, Motorola and Nokia. These two brands may not have a iPhone but they do have a lot of other really cool looking phones and other electronics that have been highly rated.
